Beliefs and Values

Exalt, Equip, Extend

We exist to glorify God through true worship, ministry to others, and taking the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Our Core Values

  1. Saved by Grace, filled with the Spirit
We are creatures made in the image of God, loved by Him, saved from our sins through faith in the person and work of Christ, and filled with the Holy Spirit to serve others.
  2. God is worthy, life is worship
We gather to rejoice in God’s glory and grace. We go forth to honor Him in all that we do.
  3. Community
We seek to know one another, love one another well, and take every opportunity to build one another up in Christ.
  4. Prayer
We pray for one another and for opportunities to share the kingdom of Christ with others.
  5. Service
We start with our families and those who depend on us. Then, as time and gifting allow, we seek to serve our church family and those around us in need.
  6. Mission
We strive to shine the light of God’s truth and love in our community and support specific missionaries through prayer and finances.

Our Identity

We are Evangelical

(from Euangelion in New Testament Greek – “good news") We believe the gospel, the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, God’s revealed and authoritative Word.

We are Reformed

We hold to the great Biblical truths that were recovered in the Protestant Reformation and summarized in our doctrinal standards, the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

We are part of the PCA

Our church is governed by elders (Presbuteros in New Testament Greek), who shepherd and lead the congregation, and deacons, who serve in the areas of finances, property, and ministries of mercy.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and inerrant Word.

We adhere to the principles of the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechism as faithful summaries of the teaching of God’s Word on the subjects they address.

We believe in the Holy Trinity

There is one God who exists eternally in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory.

We believe that men are sinners

and are totally unable to save themselves or even cooperate with God in efforts to earn their salvation.

We believe that salvation is by God’s initiative

who sovereignly chooses out of the fallen race of mankind those whom He will save. God alone saves the people whom He draws to Jesus by His Holy Spirit. He convinces them of their sin and enlightens them so they will repent of their sins and trust in Jesus as He is offered in the Gospel. Because God alone knows who are His, we call on people everywhere to repent.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God

who became man and lived and died and rose again to atone for the sins of His people. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man.

We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people

not simply as individuals, but as families in successive generations according to His Covenant promises.

We believe that the Holy Spirit in-dwells God's people

and gives them strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.

We believe that Jesus will return

bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people unto Himself.

We believe that all aspects of our lives

are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
